What do you like to do for fun?

I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to hobbies. I’m a lead guitarist—so music is a huge part of my life. When I’m not rocking out, I love to travel and explore new places—whether it’s soaking in a new city’s culture or just going off the beaten path. And, if I need to blow off some steam, I’m all about hitting the shooting range—with the pump actions precision and focus are a great way to clear the head.

What drew you to the EGS Council?

Being in the M. Eng. Systems and Technology program with a focus on automotive, I’ve always been drawn to processes and problem-solving, whether in engineering or in the community. The EGS Council gives me to connect with like-minded individuals, represent my fellow grad students, and push for positive changes at McMaster. Plus, it’s a great way to make a real impact, especially as I balance my co-op at ArcelorMittal Dofasco and other interests. Engineering isn’t just about what you learn in class—it’s about using that knowledge to shape the world around you. The Council is the perfect space to do that while keeping things fresh and exciting!
