Faculty of Engineering Master’s and Doctoral Candidates: “Job Search and Industry Interviews” Professional Development Workshop

Are you thinking about a job search for full-time positions in industry? Not sure what to do or where to start? Want to know what employers are looking for? For answers to these – and other questions, graduate students are invited to attend this day-long professional development event, delivered by Lynn Stewart (Director, Outreach and Community Engagement) and Jeff Ollinger (Manager, Engineering Co-op and Career Services).
Workshop topics will include:
· Job search for positions in industry.
· How to be successful in engineering interviews.
· Using LinkedIn/Social Media for your search.
· Professional competencies and behavioral expectations in the engineering workplace.
